Grocery stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets

groceries.tvheaven.com

Grocery products are usually something that we purchase in order to consume. Most shoppers like the packaging, however, the grocery products are usually what we consume. The packaging usually ends up in the recycling bin, or the garbage can.

Why are we so concerned with packaging? Have you ever looked at the list of ingredients on what you purchase, or the nutritional information. You more than likely have looked at this information a few times. However, looking at the nutritional information on your food purchases is probably not part of  your daily routine.

Eating is an important part of your daily routine. You are the sort of person who is concerned with your health and well being. Being that we all are what we eat, we all are going to try our best today to be careful of what we eat and drink on this day.

Mealtime is a Time for All of Us

Everybody needs nutrition. All of us share the need to eat and drink. We purchase our groceries for this basic purpose. Eating is not really an esoteric thing. Consuming food is just a basic need, there is nothing really that special about it. The way the food looks, the tiny portions of quality food, the elegant place setting might be special, however, a meal is just a way of obtaining nutrition to sustain a physical body.

Website About Groceries is Being Rebuilt

Hello, world!

Allow us to reintroduce ourselves to you. We are creating a website to inform the general public about food. Consider this to be the re-opening celebration for the website, after which we will start to post more information about wholesale and retail groceries.

We will eventually post some information for food and beverage market sector researchers that will also be available to the public here.

This website was a quiet, boring, somewhat static list between 1999 and 2001, that somehow attracted a few geeks. We are renovating the website, and focusing it more on the basic products that a basic market will carry.

TerraShare has been kind enough to donate this space to us, for now. When we are able to afford to upgrade the service to "Premium", more information will be available to computer users, researchers, and the general public at this website about groceries. Please support our host, TerraShare, and purchase the services advertised by our host.

I have saved the original lists, which will take several days to check and reformat into HTML code for the information gathering about groceries. Of course, many new stores have gone into business and out of business since the last major use of this subdomain, http://groceries.terrashare.com

Thanks for stopping by! Please remember to have a snack before going grocery shopping

What if there is nothing to eat in the house? There are usually serving-sized snack items by the cash register. If you are smart, and avoid peak shopping times by shopping early in the morning, or late at night, you will be able to quickly buy yourself a snack. Hold onto your receipt. Have the cashier tape the receipt to your snack. Keep that receipt visible! Tell the cashier that you are making sure that you are going to keep yourself on your budget, and that you are having a snack to avoid impulse purchases.

On-line shopping is another alternative.

Here is one example of an e-grocer in the United States that will allow you to receive groceries at your home or place of business, without leaving the place to go shopping.

Or, you can just do "imaginary shopping", and work at planning out your groceries for the week. This way, you can watch your spending on-screen.

Grocery shopping does not need to be stressful. Grocery shopping can be something that you look forward to doing, a way of saving money and time.
