Holidays can be special. Pumpkin pie filling is on special, possibly sweet potato pie filling also. Sometimes, there is no sugar added.
Pumpkin cookies look a lot like gingerbread cookies, and if you add enough ginger, they taste great! Leave the plank cookies for those weeks when you are walking
the plank, followed by Captain Hook and the Pirates. Pumpkin filling is easy to cook at a campground microwave oven, too, just add some sugar to taste.
